Core Concepts

Understand the fundamentals of the DAISI network.

What is DAISI?

DAISI (Distributed AI Systems, Inc.) is the infrastructure layer for decentralized AI inference. By connecting global compute resources, DAISI provides a scalable, secure, and cost-effective environment for running AI workloads.

Core Pillars

  • Decentralization No single point of failure. Workloads are distributed across thousands of global nodes.
  • Efficiency Direct connection protocols ensure the lowest possible latency for AI inference tasks.
  • Credit Economy Earn credits by hosting. Spend credits on inference. Purchase credits for immediate use.

Network Architecture

The DAISI network consists of three key components:

Orchestrators

Coordinate work distribution, manage host registration, handle authentication, and track the credit economy.

Hosts

Run AI models locally using consumer hardware. Earn credits for processing inference requests.

Consumers

Applications and users that send inference requests to the network via the SDK or DaisiBot.

Credit Economy

Credits are the universal currency of the DAISI network:

  • Earn Credits Host a node to earn credits from token processing and uptime bonuses. Publish marketplace items to earn provider revenue.
  • Spend Credits Use credits for AI inference, marketplace purchases, and subscription renewals.
  • Purchase Credits Buy credits directly for immediate use without hosting.
