Start a project, write it, comment, and keep every revision.

1. Sign in

   Open Crowd Editor. If you are not signed in, the home page sends you to Sign in. The first time through, setup asks for a profile before you can create a project.

2. Start a project

   Open Start a new project. The Title field is the name of the work. Create project makes it. The address is crowdeditor.com, then your handle, then the project name.

3. Write

   The editor is the project’s edit page. Save writes the current text. History is the revision list — open it when you need an earlier version.

4. Comment and review

   Comments is the comment thread on that project. Review is the review pass. Cast is the people on the project.

5. Share a copy

   Forks is the list of copies. Invites live under your account when you are bringing someone else in.

6. Read it

   The project address without /edit is the reading view. Download PDF exports a PDF from the editor.
