Yeti

Open an image, crop it, stack layers, and remove a background.

  1. Sign in

    Open Yeti. File → Sign in with Daisinet uses your DAISI account. Save to Cloud and Open from Cloud need that sign-in.

  2. Start a picture

    File → New starts a project. File → Open Image… opens a photo. File → Open Project… reopens a saved project. Take Photo… uses the camera.

  3. Crop

    The tool bar is Navigate, Select, Crop, Shapes, Draw, Paint, and Type. Choose Crop, drag the rectangle, then Apply Crop (or Image → Crop to Selection). Reveal Cropped Area puts the canvas back if you need the edges. View → Fit on Screen frames the picture.

  4. Remove a background

    Edit → Enable AI Features if Remove Background is hidden. Then Image → Remove Background. That isolates the subject with a layer mask. Select Subject, Apply Mask, Invert Mask, and Clear Mask sit next to it.

  5. Layers

    The Layers panel has Bring forward, Send backward, Add raster layer, and Delete selected layer. Hide, lock, and drag to reorder. Image → Import to Layer… places a picture on the selected unlocked raster layer.

  6. Save and export

    File → Save Project (Ctrl+S). Export as PNG…, Export as JPEG…, or Export as SVG… writes a file. Publish and Share… are for a project already saved to the cloud.
